Terms of Service
1. Who we are
In Our Life is operated by RKP Atlantic Business Services, a trading name of 687441 N.B. Inc., New Brunswick, Canada. In these terms, “we” means us and “you” means the person who creates a site.
2. What you get
A private website for your event or your family, at a random address on inourlife.page, with the features shown when you create it. Free sites stay online until 12 months after the event date.
3. Prices and taxes
Event Pass: CA$49 for a wedding site, CA$19 for a baby, graduation or housewarming site, paid once, plus GST/HST; it keeps the site online 12 months from the purchase (passes add up) and adds the extras listed. Family plan: CA$6.99 a month plus GST/HST, charged on the same day each month until you cancel; it keeps all your sites online. If we ever change a price, we email you at least 30 days before it applies.
4. Gift codes
An Event Pass bought as a gift comes with a code that never expires. Until it is used, it is refundable on request: write to [email protected].
5. Cancelling and refunds
Cancel the Family plan anytime from your dashboard; your sites stay online until the end of the month you paid for, and you are not charged again. We don’t refund partial months or a used Event Pass. If we charged you by mistake, write to us and we refund the mistake in full.
6. When a site goes offline
When a site’s time runs out, it shows a neutral page to visitors. We keep everything for 90 days and email you before and during that time; buy a pass or start the Family plan and it comes back. After 90 days the site, its photos and its guests’ answers are deleted.
7. Your content
Your words and photos belong to you. You give us permission to store, copy and show them only to the people you share your site with, so we can run it. You are responsible for what you put on your site, and you must have the right to share other people’s photos and information, especially children’s.
8. Rules
No illegal content, harassment, hate, scams, spam or malware, and no using someone else’s photos or work without the right to. If you break these rules we can remove content or close the site, sometimes without notice when people are at risk.
9. Availability
We work to keep your site running and backed up, but we can’t promise it will never be down. Keep your own copy of photos you can’t afford to lose.
10. Limits of our responsibility
As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer protection law.
11. Changes and law
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we email you before the change applies. These terms are governed by the laws of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
